Answering clinical questions at the point of care

Do we do enough to help doctors answer clinical questions at the point of care? What happens when we do?

Clinician Decision Support (CDS) is essential because studies show that doctors frequently encounter clinical questions, on average 11 per day, yet nearly half of those go unanswered. The data also shows that if you provide the appropriate evidence and knowledge to answer all of the questions it often changes the decisions that physicians would otherwise make. Clinicians, CCIOs and Health IT management need to consider the best ways to answer clinical questions at the bedside, and while in the workflow.

This on-demand webinar features two CCIO’s from the UK to discuss their experience with making Clinical Decision Support meaningfully accessible in their hospitals. We will also be joined by a CDS expert from UpToDate to share what they have learned about the benefits of integrating CDS into Electronic Health Records.
